This PERL poem is set in Arcade. This typeface is modeled after a simple font that was commonly used in Arcade game consoles. It very much reminds of its technical origin as you can see the single pixels it consisted out of. Each character is assembled out of squares, each character is framed by a square, each of these quadrates is placed on a even grid.
