Pronounced ou-chun-tech-mae, Ucantekme.com is an independent platform of reaction to the events that make substantial impacts in our daily lives. It started as an online space for publishing opinions about the events in the intersection of technology, politics, and cultural production.

The most recent campaign at Ucantekme.com was the endless search for WMD (Weapons of Mass Destruction) in Iraq, which is represented as the main cause of the Iraq Occupation. Visitors of Ucantekme.com voted if they also couldn't find these weapons, and they also wrote their opinion about why they couldn't find them. This campaign was important because people take political problems for granted when they are under mass message bombardment by mainstream media channels. The WMD campaign was an attempt to keep the public's memory alive about underlying issues of the Iraq Occupation that become invisible due to the mass media effect.

Ucantekme.com started in June 2001 as an online space for publishing opinions about the events in the intersection of technology, politics, and cultural production. After the 9/11 attacks, it became a more active place for a community of people that criticizes the events by participating in custom forums and voting systems about the issues. It was selected as the best community website in 2001 by the liberal Turkish newspaper Radikal. The custom software and database for forums, voting systems, and visual templates were designed and developed by Burak Arikan and Engin Erdogan. Currently Ucantekme.com is not active.
